About Lisa Hipwell
Lisa Hipwell has worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and her experience has run the gamut from restaurant and hotel management to meeting planning. Her degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University laid the foundation for her experience in all aspects of the industry from asset management in hotel real estate ventures to the planning, coordination, and execution of national and international events of all sizes. She uses her experience as a Conventions Services Coordinator for a Disney Resort and Director of Reservations for a hotel in a major international chain in the Meeting and Incentives Industry where she is able to negotiate from the perspective of an insider to the maximum benefit of her clients. As a planner, Lisa has experience in all aspects of Meetings and Incentives from sourcing and operations, to on-site execution.
Lisa’s experience extends into the realm of event technical support with extensive experience in online registration, badging, mobile apps, and virtual event production.. Certified by Cvent in Advanced Meeting Management and Virtual Events, she specializes in the design and creation of event registration websites, and all associated attendee data management. Her expertise in Attendee Management secures accurate information, and her ability to visualize events from the desired end-result backwards, ensures the capture of attendee information that is necessary throughout the entire execution of an event.
